Principle
As material flows through the feeder, the system's weight decreases. The loss-in-weight feeder controls adjust the feed rate to ensure the speed of weight loss matches the desired feed rate, constantly monitoring the material flow to maintain accuracy.
Every component, including the feeder, hopper, and material, is continuously weighed during operation to ensure precise feeding.
Gravimetric feeders experience minor feed rate fluctuations, resulting from variations in auger filling capacity and material bulk density. These fluctuations are mitigated by adjusting the auger speed, ensuring consistent product dispensing.
