Cryogenic Deflashing Machine for Rubber Trimming by Nitrogen PG-40T
PROCESSING PRINCIPLE
Our state-of-the-art cryogenic deflashing technology employs a sophisticated system where rubber or plastic components are placed in a specially designed machine chamber. These parts are subjected to ultra-low temperatures, achieved through the application of liquid nitrogen. As the parts are tumbled within the chamber, they are blasted with polycarbonate media, ensuring efficient and precise deflashing.
Due to their thinner surface area relative to their mass, burrs and flashes freeze rapidly and become brittle under the extreme cold. The combined effect of tumbling and media impact cleanly removes these unwanted burrs without compromising the integrity of the part itself.
Once the deflashing process is complete, the parts are returned to room temperature. This cryogenic deburring technique leaves each part impeccably clean, free from dust or any residual debris, and ensures 100% burr removal.
Cryogenic deburring and deflashing are exceptionally suitable for die-cast metal components, intricate rubber parts, precision elastomeric parts, medical devices, and microelectronic components.
FUNCTIONS
Our versatile machine excels in removing flash from small rubber and plastic components such as O-rings, gaskets, and other molded items. It ensures a superior finish and enhanced quality for each part.
Utilizing advanced cryogenic processing technology, the flashes are first frozen and then eliminated through the high-speed projection of polycarbonate media. This method significantly enhances the surface quality of molded rubber and plastic parts.

ADVANTAGES
Our cryogenic deflashing process offers numerous benefits over manual and other traditional deflashing methods.
This process maintains the part's integrity and adheres to critical tolerances.
As a batch process, it significantly reduces the cost per piece by enabling the processing of many parts simultaneously.
Cryogenic deflashing extends the lifespan of molds, reducing the need for costly repairs or replacements. This is especially beneficial for parts molded at the end of their product lifecycle.
The entire process is computer-controlled, eliminating variability introduced by human operators.
It ensures consistent, high-quality results across different production lots.
The cryogenic deflashing process is non-abrasive, preserving the part's surface.
Overall, the cost per part is significantly lower compared to alternative techniques.
