As the temperature descends, the rubber and plastic components embark on a transformation, becoming hardened, brittle, and crystallized, gradually relinquishing their flexibility. At this stage, they are more susceptible to breakage from external forces, especially when at their brittle temperature. The flash found on molded products is typically much thinner than the finished product itself, thus becoming brittle significantly earlier when subjected to low temperatures. The Cryogenic Deflashing Machine capitalizes on this phenomenon, operating precisely when the flash becomes brittle while the product retains its flexibility. Utilizing high-velocity projected special plastic media, the machine effectively targets and eliminates the brittle flash, ensuring seamless removal without compromising the product's integrity.

FUNCTIONS
Our cutting-edge machine excels in efficiently eliminating flashed materials from small rubber and plastic parts including O-rings, gaskets, and an array of other molded components.
Employing state-of-the-art cryogenic processing technology, the machine first freezes the flashes before systematically removing them with high-speed projection media (Polycarbonate blast). This process significantly elevates the surface quality of molded rubber and plastic parts, ensuring superior finish and durability.
