PROCESSING PRINCIPLE
As the temperature decreases, rubber and plastic components undergo a hardening process, becoming brittle and crystallized, which results in a loss of flexibility. At this brittle temperature, they are more susceptible to breaking when exposed to external forces. Since the flash on molded products is thinner than the main product, it becomes brittle faster under low temperature conditions. The cryogenic deflashing machine takes full advantage of this principle. It operates within the critical timeframe where the flash is brittle while the main products remain flexible. High-speed projected special plastic media effectively strike and clear the brittle flash, removing it without causing any damage to the products.
