Operational Principle
The operational principle of our loss-in-weight feeders is ingeniously simple: as material passes through the system, the overall weight decreases. During operation, all components, including the feeder, hopper, and material, are continuously weighed, assuring accuracy and consistency.
Gravimetric feeders are designed to compensate for minor variations in feed rates caused by changes in auger filling capacity and material bulk density. This is achieved by dynamically adjusting the auger speed, ensuring uniform product dispensing.
