Unveiling the Advanced Cryogenic Deflashing and Deburring Systems PG-40T to PG-150T by Nanjing Pege, China
PROCESSING PRINCIPLE
Our cutting-edge cryogenic deflashing technology leverages a sophisticated system where rubber or plastic parts undergo intense cold temperatures (achieved using liquid nitrogen). These parts are then tumbled in a chamber and meticulously blasted with polycarbonate media.
Due to the significantly thinner surface area of burrs/flashes compared to their mass, they freeze extremely rapidly, turning brittle. The combined effect of tumbling and media impact removes these burrs without compromising the integrity of the parts.
Upon completion of the process, parts are restored to room temperature. This cryogenic deburring method ensures a pristine finish, free from dust or residues, with a 100% burr removal rate.
Ideal for die-cast metal parts, intricate rubber components, precision elastomeric parts, medical components, and microelectronic parts, cryogenic deburring and deflashing offer unparalleled precision and cleanliness.

ADVANTAGES
Cryogenic deflashing offers several benefits compared to manual and other traditional deflashing techniques.
The method ensures part integrity and maintains critical tolerances.
Being a batch process, it significantly reduces the cost per piece, allowing for more parts to be processed simultaneously.
It extends mold life, providing an economical alternative to mold replacement or repair, particularly for end-of-lifecycle products.
With computer-controlled precision, the process eliminates variability caused by human operators.
It guarantees consistent quality across different lots.
Cryogenic deburring is non-abrasive, preserving part integrity.
Economically, the cost per part is notably lower compared to other techniques.
