PROCESSING PRINCIPLE
As the temperature decreases, rubber and plastic parts undergo a process of hardening, becoming brittle and crystallized, which causes them to lose flexibility. When subjected to brittle temperatures, these parts are easily broken by external forces. The flash on molded products is generally much thinner than the finished product itself, causing it to become brittle more quickly at low temperatures. The cryogenic deflashing machine leverages this principle, operating within a time frame where the flash is brittle while the products retain flexibility. High-speed projected special plastic media strike the flashes, effectively removing them without damaging the product.
