PROCESSING PRINCIPLE
As the temperature drops, rubber and plastic parts firm up, becoming brittle and crystallized, thereby losing flexibility. At this fragile temperature, they fracture easily when exposed to external force. Since the flash on molded products is thinner than the products themselves, it becomes brittle more rapidly in low temperatures. The cryogenic deflashing machine harnesses this principle. It operates during the period when the flash is brittle, yet the products maintain their flexibility. High-speed projected specialized plastic media efficiently strike and clear the brittle flash, eliminating it without harming the product.
