Product Description

As temperatures drop, rubber and plastic components undergo a transformation, becoming hard, brittle, and potentially crystallized. This transformation results in a loss of flexibility, making them susceptible to breakage under external force at low temperatures. Cryogenic deflashing machines leverage this phenomenon: the thinner flash of molded items turns brittle before the main product. By projecting specialized high-speed plastic media during this brittle phase, these machines effectively remove the unwanted flash without compromising the integrity of the main item. This process ensures that the brittle burrs are easily eliminated, leaving the primary product undamaged and pristine.

FUNCTIONS
Our advanced machine is expertly designed for the efficient removal of flash from small rubber and plastic parts, including O-rings, gaskets, and various other molded components.
Utilizing innovative cryogenic technology, the machine first freezes the flashes before deploying high-speed projection media, such as Polycarbonate blast. This results in a significant enhancement of the surface quality for both rubber and plastic molded parts.
