PROCESSING PRINCIPLE
With the decrease of the temperature, rubber/plastic parts enter into hardened, brittle, and crystallized process, its flexibility is gradually lost. It is easily broken by external force when it is under brittle temperature. Flash of the molded products is generally much thinner than finished product itself, it become brittle earlier than product in the low temperature. Cryogenic deflashing machine applies this principle, works in the time range when flash is brittle while products still keeps its flexibility, hit the flashes by high speed projected special plastic media, clear out the brittle burr. The flashes can be easily removed, and the product not be damaged.
FUNCTIONS
Our machine is widely used in removing the flashed of small rubber and plastic parts like O-rings, gaskets and other molded parts.
With the cryogenic processing technology, the flashes are firstly freeze and then shot down the high-speed projection media (Polycarbonate blast). The surface quality of molded rubber and plastic rubber parts can be improved greatly.

- What is a general process ability for a 60liter and 120liter capacity machine in one day?
Our 60liter machine can process about 2.5kg parts in one batch, batch cycle time will be 7 mins, so about 20kg per hour and 160kg parts can be deburred in one day. And a 120liter cryogenic deburring machine can have 2 times as the processing ability of 60liter's machine.
- If want to apply the cryogenic deflashing technology, what the preparation should do as a buyer?
The supplier will include the machine, the cyclone splitter, discharge pipe and transformers included in the quotation. Therefor, for the buyer, the affiliated equipment or devices like Ln2 tank, pipeline, power supply and Ln2 supply will be necessary.
- How many liters of nitrogen consumed in one batch or one minute?
Generally, for a 60-liter capacity cryogenic shot-blast deflashing machine, the consumption of Ln2 nitrogen at the temperature of -70C will be about 55liter per hour, as we know there are about 8 batches in one hours, so the consumption in one batch will be 7liter, and in one minute will be 0.9 liter.
