PROCESSING PRINCIPLE
As temperatures decrease, rubber and plastic components experience hardening, becoming brittle and crystallized, which renders them less flexible. At this critical brittle temperature, the parts fracture with ease under external pressure. Since the flash on molded products is thinner than the parts themselves, it becomes brittle more quickly at low temperatures. The cryogenic deflashing machine leverages this fundamental principle. It operates within the window where the flash is brittle, yet the products remain flexible. High-speed projected special plastic media efficiently strike and remove the brittle flash, ensuring no damage to the product.
